Site operator and contact

The rinas.art site operator can be contacted at mail@rinas.art for privacy questions or requests about your information.

Contact form

Your name, email address, selected topic, and message are used to read and respond to your enquiry.

The contact relay does not store a separate submission record in the site database. It sends the message through Microsoft Azure Communication Services (ACS) to the site mailbox.

Once delivered, the email is held in the mailbox. Copies may persist in mailbox or email-provider backups, and ACS service telemetry may persist.

The form has no third-party CAPTCHA or form host. It sends no autoresponse and accepts no attachments.

Abuse prevention

The relay temporarily processes the requesting IP address in memory for rate limiting. It also uses a signed form token and a duplicate fingerprint to prevent replay and repeated sends.

This technical state is transient. By default, the relay application logs do not persist raw IP addresses or contact-form contents.

Ghost membership and newsletter

If you sign up, subscribe, or use a member account, Ghost and the site's email infrastructure handle the information needed to provide those separate features. That processing is separate from the contact form. This notice does not set a retention period for those features.

Website analytics

This site uses a self-hosted instance of Umami to understand visits, popular pages, referrers, device types, and approximate geographic region. The analytics service is operated with the site on its Azure infrastructure; anonymous Umami product telemetry is disabled.

Umami does not use analytics cookies or create advertising profiles. Requests necessarily expose technical information such as an IP address and browser user agent to the server. Umami uses that information to produce privacy-focused visit statistics and does not store the raw IP address.

Analytics records are currently retained until they are no longer needed and are then deleted manually. You can enable your browser's Do Not Track setting; the tracker is configured to respect it.

Cookies and browser storage

The contact form and Umami analytics do not use cookies, local storage, or session storage. Ghost membership features may use necessary session cookies or browser storage to keep member sessions working.

Retention

Contact messages are kept in the mailbox only as long as needed to respond and manage the correspondence. Provider backups and ACS telemetry may follow their own operational lifecycles.
